KUHR Charity of the Year 2025: Meet the Shortlisted Charities
At KUHR, we believe in making a difference where it matters most. As part of our annual commitment to giving back, we are proud to unveil the shortlist for our Charity of the Year 2025.
Each year, we dedicate our resources, time, and expertise to supporting a cause that aligns with our values of compassion, empowerment, and positive change. For 2025, we’ve selected five remarkable charities that provide critical support to individuals, families, and communities in need.
Free HR Support for 2025
The charity we select as our Charity of the Year 2025 will receive free HR support from KUHR throughout the year. This includes expert guidance on HR processes, compliance, and people management.
By providing this support, we hope to alleviate the administrative burden that often comes with managing teams and allow the charity to focus more on their core mission. Additionally, this partnership could help divert their financial resources to other critical areas where it’s needed most.

Why These Charities?
Selecting our Charity of the Year is always a tough decision. Each of these organisations is making an extraordinary impact, whether by supporting bereaved families, helping carers, or tackling systemic social issues like homelessness and disability inclusion.
By offering free HR support, KUHR aims to empower the selected charity with the tools and guidance they need to manage their teams effectively. This partnership will not only help streamline their HR processes but also free up vital resources for their mission-driven work.
What Happens Next?
Our team will now carefully evaluate each charity’s mission, impact, and alignment with our values before making the final decision. We’ll announce the selected Charity of the Year 2025 on 19th December 2024.
Once the partnership begins, KUHR will work closely with the chosen charity throughout the year to:
- Provide expert HR guidance and support tailored to their needs.
- Promote their mission and raise awareness through our networks and platforms.
- Engage our team and clients in supporting their initiatives.
We are committed to ensuring this partnership brings meaningful, lasting value to the charity and those they serve.
Why Free HR Support Matters
Running a charity comes with unique challenges, and managing HR effectively can often take a backseat to other priorities. However, good HR practices are essential to fostering a thriving, motivated team that can deliver on the organisation’s goals.
By offering free HR support, KUHR aims to reduce the administrative burden for the selected charity. This support will allow them to focus on their mission while potentially reallocating financial resources to critical areas such as:
- Expanding their services or outreach programs.
- Investing in new initiatives to support their beneficiaries.
- Funding equipment, facilities, or other urgent needs.
We believe this partnership can create a ripple effect of positive change, helping the chosen charity to maximise its impact in 2025 and beyond.
